In the heart of Rome
The Hotel Manfredi Suite in Rome boasts a dream location just a few metres from the romantic Spanish Steps, in the heart of one of the most elegant and exclusive corners of the centre of Rome, a short walk away from the main tourist and cultural attractions of Rome. It is found along the historic Via Margutta, one of the most celebrated streets of the Roman Dolce Vita, a refuge for the painters and sculptors of the time, who had their studio houses here.
Stepping out of your room, you can immediately stroll through the elegant boutiques around the Spanish Steps, along Via Condotti, Via del Babuino and Via Borgognona, the quadrangle of Roman haute couture, where the best world-famous stylists display their wares.
Reaching Via del Corso and walking in the opposite direction of Piazza Venezia, you will come to Piazza del Popolo, where you can admire Caravaggio’s Crucifixion of San Pietro displayed in the church of Santa Maria del Popolo. You can also head to Piazza Navona with the Church of Sant'Agnese in Agone of the Borromini and Bernini’s Fountain of the Four Rivers, just a short distance from which is Piazza della Rotonda with the Pantheon one of the oldest monuments in Rome.
Also a few minutes away, by crossing Via del Tritone, you will find yourself before the cinematic Trevi Fountain. This one-of-a-kind work was built in 1735 above one of Rome’s ancient aqueducts, which is still in operation today. The streets surroundings the Hotel are full of trendy restaurants and wine bars, offering an abundance of delectable delights and delicacies.
Finally, remember that there is also the Metro Line A stop in Piazza di Spagna, offering an excellent alternative to avoid the traffic in Rome and reach the most far-off tourist attractions, such as St. Peter’s Square, the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel, which would take just under 30 minutes to reach on foot.
